Statistik
Enligt de senaste bedömningarna finns det cirka 300 000 personer i Finland som får behandling för diagnostiserad diabetes: cirka 40 000 personer med typ 1-diabetes och ungefär 250 000 personer med typ 2-diabetes. Dessutom har omkring 200 000 finländare typ 2-diabetes utan att veta om det.
