About 500 professionals working among persons with diabetes participate annually in further training and education that is arranged at the Diabetes Centre. 

Examples of training:

• Basic course in the care of people with diabetes
• People with diabetes in rehabilitation
• Mental health and diabetes
• Care and referral of children and young people with diabetes
• Diabetes, feet and exercise
